What Is Discord?
Discord gives us the experience we want for our agent community. It allows us to host more engaging experiences. Want to have a video/voice call with a group of people? Perhaps do a screen share as you walk them through your project?
Discord is a lot like Slack but better. Chat, video calls, live streaming, news and events – we’ll be able to do everything that was possible on Slack, and much more. Discord allows us to have significantly more functionality, making it even easier to engage with your fellow community members, and much more.

#Roles
We have a few roles to make it easier for you to see who is who:
@Students - people working on getting licensed/contracted
@Producers - active agents
@SM - Sales Managers running teams doing $50K+ each month
@VP - Vice Presidents running organizations doing $150K+ each month
@Staff - Support Staff
@Contractors - Contracting Admins
When you join the Discord server, you will automatically be given the @Velocity role which will allow you to see our channels.
Let the server know whether you're an active agent or if you're working on it so it can give you either the @Student or @Producer role, and let us know in the #your-agency channel if you're a SM or VP or if you're on additional teams - there's a channel for most teams and we'll make sure you get added to yours.

You will find a wide variety of categories and channels so you can stay up to date with FFL announcements, as well as interact in conversations on all kinds of topics.
As well as instant messaging, you can also join a voice channel to talk to people. You can even transform that into a screen share "Zoom-style" session with a simple click.
